I bought a used commercial espresso machine!

If some of you who are following me on Instagram, you would have seen that I posted a picture of a commercial espresso machine.

This is how it looks like. Pretty nice right?

Its a Promac Green 2 Group machine. Very compact in size for the 2 group machine. My intentions was to use it for high volume events. I went down to take a look at the machine where it was serving in a cafe last week and the condition was ok. It was working well too. So I decided to reserve it and buy it.

So I collected the machine yesterday and spent the whole of today trying to set up the machine. It was not as easy as I thought.

Firstly, I plugged in the machine and behold… It tripped the power! I had to remove any adapters on the power line and use a dedicated socket for it. So the machine could power on.. but then, it had a hard time pulling the water from the Jerry can. The water coming out of the brew head was just tricking too. So I am not sure if the machine needs to be plumbed in? Or was there air locked in the water line?

So now I am stuck with a commercial espresso machine that does not really work. I am now trying to figure out what to do next.
